Visited Cherry Corals today and picked up this bad boy. Completes my collection. I pretty sure I have all the colors that matter now.

Great news Don! Mentioned as well on a certain non-photosynthetic specific site ;) I know you have been searching long and hard to add this beauty to your collection. Congrats!

Was tempted to pick up an all black one the other day....but I want to hold out for a few more Halcurias...we shall see how strong my will power is.

The darkside's force is very strong and it can easily wield the mind to make purchases beyond your will.

I see a sand bed coming back!!! Thanks Mike. It is a beauty. Almost white with a purple center. I have seen the black ones, they are a rich dark purple. You just can't get these colors anywhere else.

If only a certain company, that I still love, had sent me the red one I ordered instead of the pink I would really have been set.

No sand....must...use....will power.

That is spectacular. I think you just need to go ahead and cover the whole tank with one of every color. :p

How deep is your sand bed? I've always read that they need a very deep sand bed to dig in--or do you provide them with PVC pipes?

I know, I know, My sand bed is fairly shallow although it is a good two and a half inches where they are. Maybe that is why they like to tunnel under the rock. I keep trying to get one in the middle but they move over to the rock and tunnel under. No PVC. I tried that once with my old one and he crawled right out of it. I have been thinking of buring one in the cravasse behind them. My eel keeps digging the sand out of there. I think it would be cool to have one coming out of there slightly higher then the rest.

Those are some good pics. You just need a real blue one now (cause that one is white not blue no matter how hard you try) and a real red one.

Well if you squint..... Your right it is white. So still on the hunt for the sky blue. I do love it though, the color is sweet.

Actually, if you spin around reallyreally fast for like 30 sec then stop and look at it it kinda looks blue? :crazy1:

Well, they look happy regardless...they've obviously never seen those articles that say they need at least 6" of sand to do well. :D
