So I have 2 tanks, a 55g that is my predator tank and has hammer and octospawn corals in it and a 29g biocube that is my girlfiends. Has fuji premium live rock, live sand, 2 clowns, hammer corals, frogspawns, favia, zoas etc. Out of 2 tanks ive just spotted at least 4 of these vermeited snails in the gf's tank. The tank just completed its cycle and I only feed the clowns pellets. I have purigen and chemi pure elite in the filter. Will these snails go away on their own? Out of panic I pulled a zoa frag plug out of tank and scraped the snails off the plug with a butter knife. If it were in my predator tank I wouldnt mind cause its always kinda rough looking but my gf just loves her tank and I dont want these things taking over. Any suggestions or should I just let things take their course? Thanks in advance, nathan

I have them in my 40 gallon. At first i didn't think much of them, but they will spread if you don't get rid of them or kill them. you'll see little white ones popping up here and there. I'm not sure the best way to get rid of them, but I wou;d sugest getting them out before they become a nusance. They woun't hurt anything, but they are ugly and spread

I probably have at least 500 in my 100 gallon, they havent bothered anything as far as I can tell. I personally don't mind them.

Yeah I have countless numbers of them in my 120. They're not a big deal. Sometimes its a sign of excess nutrients but they are not going to overtake your tank.

Ya im not overly worried about them and dont want to eradicate them but I was worried about them taking over the corals. I only have lps corals, ive read they will irritate sps corals but I havent found much on if they will effect lps corals. The snails were probably getting most their nutrients from the tank cycle but now that its completely done cycling ill just keep my eye on the tank to see if they are still multiplying or not
