Hi all,
Just wanted to get some advice on what everyone wanted for the gathering/auction/BBQ.

Do we want to BBQ or do we want to just make it a sort of pot luck? It gets pretty warm outside now but what ever everyone wants will be fine.

Do we have any volunteers for that day?

Pot luck makes it easier on the host. I am for that . You guys are doing enough by having the the event.

The BBQ theme sounds good. We can have others bring items for the grill though, so you do not bare the cost.

Should we BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs/sausages or do we want everyone to bring what meat they want to grill?

I think the bring your own meat idea is good. We could all bring meat and a side to share. That would make is slightly easier on our hosts

well my dad said he will do the BBQing as he did it last time also. He loves to BBQ and would be happy to do it for you gary.

I guess i will bring my own meat and a dessert, maybe some soda or something. I can't really drink if i want to drive home.

Sure, people seemed to enjoy it last time, so I can bring it. I have a blender for iced drinks too, so I will bring that. Good idea Brian. Cold coffee beverages will probably go over better at 1pm in July


Is Olin going to be back from his trip by then? Will he attend?

It looks like we may have a good turn out. By any chance does anyone have another grill that wouldn't mind huffing it over here ? We have a cheapy one that will work but I was wondering if we may need two.

It seems that 1pm is the time most voted for on the fourth. Also it seems BYOM and a side dish has been agreed upon. Are we all okay with this?

I might be driving down. Not sure just yet as I don't have the proverbial designated driver. The way things are looking tho it's about 60/40 as of now.
