Fox face attacking bta??

every now and then my one spot fox face will swim up to my anemone when its deflated and i guess hit it. It seems like a soft hit and i cant see any damage from when he does it. What do yall think? I'm pretty sure my bta is about to split. and also my fox face like rubbing and swimming through my torch coral. Is it possible he is cleaning the anemone or maybe like semi hosting it?? I have no clue i'm new to this so any thing will help

Your fox face may be smoking crack. That is interesting though. I have a fox face with my nems and I have never seen this.

foxface can be risky sometimes with inverts. You may not be giving it a suitable diet because they normally don't mess with inverts.

there is plenty of algea for him to pick at and i feed anything from krill to brine to mysis once a day. He is a the most aggressive eater in my tank. Its not really a recurring problem i guess. I just saw him do it a couple of times and was curious

he might just be picking at it so be sure to protect it if your anemone is splitting. try a green strawberry basket that works very well. also try feeding twice a day maybe that will help?

do you have clowns that live in the anemone, my guess is no since it is able to get in there and nip it. some fish do eat anemones and with out clownfish to protect them, anemones usually do not last long, in the wild or captivity

You said he only does it when the BTA is deflated?

Is it a green BTA?

He could be thinking its algae & picking on it when its deflated.
