Foxface Growth

I'm thinking about adding a small foxface (~2") to a 65g tank. I know that it will eventually outgrow the tank, but how fast do they grow? Will it outgrow the tank in a year, two years, longer? I currently have a small false perc and small six-line wrasse.

Obviously feeding plays a major role, but I'm just trying to get an idea.

Any feedback on these fish is greatly appreciated.

I've had mine for a little over a year. It started out at about 3-1/2" - 4" and is now around 4-1/2" - 5". I'm not sure exactly how long it will take for a small one to grow to medium size. HTH

i thinkyou should be alright. The foxfaces as a species have to be some of the most friendly fish available. They have awesome personalities. Every one i have been around loves to eat from you hands. they love to be spoied

They are somewhat of a messy fish. They grow about 1"-2" / year. Beware if you have open brains. Mine has an appetite for them. BTW, I had mine in a 92 gal corner for two years, then moved him to a 180.
