Foxface Lo in reef tank?

I have a 120 gallon five foot long reef tank with fish. Lights include two 322 watt strip lights with each have half compact flourescent actinic and half 12,000 daylight for a total of 644 watts. I have 135 pounds of live rock LPS corals, soft corals, no SPS corals, six tangs, four clowns, three blue damsels, one flame hawkfish, and finally, one Foxface Lo, rabbit fish.

My question is whether I should keep the five to six inch Foxface Lo which cost me $40 a year ago or should I trade it in to the local pet store. I just received a $49.99 live rock with Zooanthids and I plan on gettting more polyp type corals such as the Pom Pom Coral with expert level only.

I have a foxface in my 50g with tons of zoos and corals of all types... It never seems to bother anything, I would leave it alone if it is doing ok, if you see it bother anything than that is a different story...

I have a rabbitfish in a mixed reef loaded with every coral imaginable, and no harm yet. love eem, saved me from some major algae problems.

I think I will stay with my Foxface Lo, Tangs, Clowns, and Damsels. I did have a mail order the other week for a Zooanthid rock. I decided to buy a big live rock at the "local" store 20 miles north. It had about four to six zooanthids which disappeared over night. I took my six inch french angel and fifty cent size gray angel up to the store for a trade in. They had not bothered anything before to my knowledge although I did loose a clam which kept tipping over. It was a hassle scooping out these two fish but my wife handed the hard plastic tube I use for feeding chopped clam to my Sabae and Bubble Tipped Anemones, to prod the little bugger until I could net him. I think the Zooanthids are coming out on the rock slowly as it has been five days. I did not want to have trouble like the angels because I want to move into corals in a bigger way.

Angels are known zoanthid eaters. They are one of the more common things angels go after...

My rabbitfish is in with a few thousand zoas and has not touched one :)

I am the same way, have a Foxface, and he has never touched any of my corals...I think you will be safe

Like many fish, they are hot or miss. Mine is a model citizen, but I've read many horror stories where the same cannot be said.
