Foxface

I have a 130 gallon running now two months. i only have a clean up crew, a diamondback sifting goby and an eagle eye zoa. I want to get a Foxface but I am concerned about it possibly eating or nipping at my zoa and future corals. Right now I have some green hair algae in the tank right now that is being attacked by my turbo snails. Any advice? It was either the Foxface or the yellow tang, but I'm concerned about Ich and the yellow tang. One of my future stocking fishes is a Naso Tang a few months down the line. I plan to go slow. I am not new to the hobby and have a successful other reef tank that has done very well with my fish and corals with no loss. I ensure good husbandry. I really love the Foxface, but again, concerned for my zoa and future corals. Need advice.

In my experience the foxfaces are less prone to nipping at corals than other rabbits. Now that being said it doesn't mean that your foxface won't nip a corals. It's a game of chance, but I don't believe it's too much of a risk. I personally would try it, and just watch him for a little while

My one spot foxface is a model citizen. He loves algae, even bubble algae. I have never see it nip and any coral zoa, lps or SPS.

Ive always had foxfaces cuz I trade them in when they get to big! Never had an issue w any single one of them, model citizens.
