Frag Grab Bag for the next swap

O.K. here is the idea.

we can order a frag pack from an on-line vendor, I think most are 20 packs. so if we get 20 people or 20 bags sold for say $12.00 ea. we will have enough to pay for shipping.

We buy the frag pack the week of the meeting, we can rebag/container each frag. put it in a plain paper bag so no one knows what they are. attach a card of some kind to the bag.

bring them all to the swap pass out matching cards for all the frag bags to those playing, and the matching grab bag is yours.

For this to happen we need to have x amount of bags sold. We can choose from many vendors, Reefer Madness has a 20 pack, I just e-mailed FragFarmer so I should know soon.

yes funds will need to be secured either threw paypal before I give you your card. I don't mind ordering and having everyone paying when I get to the swap. I just hope I don't get stuck with all the corals:lol: so if you need to back out we will set a deadline for that also.

ReeferMadness has an all SPS pack or we can go with a mixed pack of SPS, LPS and about 5 zoas. Any thoughts?

Good deal workn, Great idea. Didn't want to see you have to foot the bill up front. So paypal for those of us that use it can help ease the pain. 10 people should be a snap. Again Great idea. Lets do a Yuma pack get together and split that next!!! Maybe some floridas......Maybe some.....?????

Well I called my friend in Florida. He can get us neon orange and blue/green FL rocs for 13.00 each and
green FL Rocs for 8.00 each
If anybodies interested, we can do it whenever and
I can get as many as we want,
not to bad a price. We can see what kind of interest we get after the swap. Workn's got a great idea on the group buys for the frag packs, maybe we can keep them rollin monthly or Bi-monthly........Especially for 10-20 bucks apiece!!!

I've received an e-mail from FragFarmer, their frag system is going threw a little crash, so they are out. He did offer us mini colonies from Soloman (sps) but it more like $20+ per piece. Don't know how many SPS fans we have but if the interest is there maybe next time.

I also found ricordias but that would be more like $13 per bag. They are doing a ricordia GB in PHX for $15 ea. so this is not a bad deal.

An all SPS frag pack worries me, how do we know if the coral was cut because of STN or RTN???
