Frag help!

Hello,

I just received some clippings of the Ora blue macro algae and a green colored freebie. They are both an 1" also. How do I place this in my tank? With corals, I glue them. What do I do with macro algae?

Use a rubberband to attach it to a rock or wedge it between two rocks. I use natural rubber which will deteriorate in a couple of weeks. In time, the macro will attach itself.

I've also glued macros in my tank, just like you would with corals. Seems to work well enough. I try not to glue the 'trimmed end' that I want to root in - instead, I glue a little higher than that so the root end won't be prevented from taking hold.
