Its that time of year and we have gotten past the Christmas holiday. I will be hosting a swap/frag meet at my place again this year

Food and beverage will be provided, Menu will be the same as last years...

St. James' Heavenly Chili for those that do not like Seafood Bisque... + more

Hey there, just getting into the reef hobby, I made the mistake of copper poisoning my first tank of LR, at least we caught it before corals went in there, just killed off a few inverts, so it is relegated to just keeping my Occelaris pair.

Working on putting together my next reef tank, without the bronze check valve. I live up in Java near Arcade and was just wondering if there is any kind of club or activities in the WNY or Southern Tier area? I see your frag get-together and I would love to attend but my Saturdays are all tied up until the snow melts away (ski patrol at Kissing Bridge).

Thanks in advance. I know about the Erie County Tropical Fish Club and usually attend their auctions, but they do not seem to have much salt activity.

Welcome to Southern tier Reef Society. You are welcome to come to the frag meet I would glad to send you directions or maybe you could ride with someone from Upsate Reef.

Pickup a Poly-Filter pad for the reef you poisened and it will adsorb all of the nasty copper out of tank. I t is short of miraculous filter pad...
