FRAG-O-Ween 2015 Party October 17th

Frick

AZ FRAG President
It's time for our Frag-O-ween party at Prankster's Too October 17th. If the weather is nice, then we could get together outside on the patio. We will meet there at 2pm and if you or your kids would like to try out your new costume then please do so. We will have our Bobbing for Frags right after the frag demonstration. No you do not have to frag the corals while bobbing for them. If you haven't done the bobbing for frags before then you have been missing out. Last year everyone got to leave with at least one very nice coral. If you have never been to an AZ FRAG meeting then this would be a great one to start.

Bring your family and friends. If you would like to trade/buy/sell and frags please use this thread to do so. All listings must have a price and would be better with a picture. This meeting is for paid AZ FRAG members. Annual dues are $10 which you can pay for there. Trust me. This meeting alone will be worth the cost.

Where:
Prankster's Gar and Brill Too
7919 E. Thomas Rd. (SW corner of Thomas and Hayden)
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

When;
October 17th 2:00pm till 4:00pm

So dress up, come out, and grab some food and drinks while you pick out your next coral with your mouth!

Last year was my first time at this event and it was a blast, came home with a cpl very nice corals, learned new fragging tricks and just had a lot of fun with everyone. Well worth the $10 annual membership just for this meeting.

I'm here at work today, missing Frag o Ween for the third straight year...

Hope everyone has a great time! Take (and post) pictures, please!

Thank you everyone that came out today. I hope you all had fun. I hope everyone got a frag or two to try and learned something about fragging a coral or two. Thank you to Reef Stew for the donations for the raffle. And if you liked the corals you saw today make sure to check out Coral Reef Imports on Alma School.

See you all next month for the PROP Auction, November 14th at Pranksters.

Thank you for the demonstration on fragging and the frags. Hope my larger tank is up soon for more addtions.

definitely had a good time again, came hope with some niuce coral and the demonstration was excellent as well, never had thought to frag brain corals.

I picked up a nice Lobophyllia coral frag. Thanks to the guys running it for glueing it to a plug for me. Coral looks healthy and has puffed up some. Had a fun time. The next day I had enough courage and fragged a small piece of one of my zoas. Yes I wore eye protection, gloves, etc. That frag is doing well. Thanks for the demos.

Thanks to everyone who made it out! We had an awesome turn out and were wonderfully surprised by the crowd! I ran out of extra blank application forms! :D (sorry to those who were inconvenienced)

I took a handful of photos, but I haven't even got them off the camera yet. I was a bit limited as I was Frick's helping hands up front. :)

Also, I know some of you were asking Wayne for your name tags; I failed to give them to him before the meeting - they were in my bag across the room. Sorry! But I do have them for those who are yet to receive them, and I can get them to you at a future event or will mail them to you if requested.

It was our pleasure!
