I've gor a piece of Zoa mounted on the shell.

lol, I don't think the hermit will die, he'll just grow out into the shell. they're pretty picky in terms of new shells (unless they're desperate). the zoos on the other hand... if he hides in a cave all day they might not be too happy.
 
Yeah my hermit was stuck in a cave and I saw his legs sticking out of small holes. It was sad until he came out again =D. Hope he dont go hiding in some hole =)
 
Same here...could never get ceriths to survive when I had blue legs around. Now that I only have one (whose current shell is bigger than any of my ceriths'), I haven't had any die from a hermit attack. :P
 
LFS had a hermit with some pumping xenia attached. Funny thing was that small frag was the healthiest in the tank! Maybe the constant shifting of light from all the movement, or the flow of water in all directions from each step. Pretty cool.

Anyone else have photos of "Frags on the Move"?
 
I love mounting zoos on shells.

That said, I once took a big hit right before a swap. A hermit went through my mounted on a shell zoo frags and ripped them to shreds trying out a new shell for himself. I lost about 10 frags.

You guys would be bummed if I told you what didn't make the swap thanks to that hermit.
