frag swap poster

We need someone to volunteer to create a poster and avatar for this year's swap. I have ask Dan, but have not heard back. We need to start advertising. So the sooner the better. You can find examples of the ones that we used for the last three years. This year's does not have to be the same.

Thanks

Hey

Yea, the third week in June - the saturday before Father's day.

Saturday June 18th
noon-4pm
setup -- Saturday 8-12am
pre-setup -- Friday 6-8pm maybe later if needed.
More details to follow.

For the RC and other forums it needs to be 450 x 580 pixels. Although last year's was 450 x 609. It will need to be able to be printed on 8.5 x 11 paper. It would also be good to be able to print it on 11 x 17 also. If we had a simplified version to be used as an avatar, that would be good too.

Come on you artsy folks. You do not want it to fall to me as a default choice.

Thanks

Not a threat, just an exclamation. Orange is a wonderful color. I'm thinking something like last years, design-wise, but orange instead of yellow.

eddie i have a friend that is a graphic engineer. let me see if i can get him to design somethng for us and i will get a copy right on it as well so we dont have the same problems. I will call him tomorrow and see if he has time.

how about something like this? Note this is for 11"x17" ratio. The forum version would be a bit squatter. This is a quick mockup, not the official version for distribution.

That looks really good. Eddie, had to do a double this week so didn't get to it sorry. If you want to use that its all good. I like it.

Instructions: go to your profile and change the avatar. Either right click + save image and upload the avatar, or use the direct link above

Eddie or whoever is going to print these: the high, print-quality (300 pixels per inch) files are on the ETRC site in the media area. There is an 8.5x11 and a 11x17, and they are named to reflect this.
