Frag Swap Roll Call!

Who all is planning on going? I've reserved a full table for us.

I know that Kurt is planning on being there, and I'm sure T&T are. I believe Fidel is as well, but beyond that, I'm not sure.

Post up in here if you are, or aren't, and I'll be sure to call everyone else soon.

Hi Rocky, I believe we will. Last year, I think we had 2 tanks on the table, but had room for 1 more. I believe that people ended up sharing one tank for a few people to, so it'll probably be possible to just drop airless bags in as well. I'll find out what sizes everyone is planning on bringing and get back to you.

I'm not a member yet (I plan on offically joining at the Feb meeting). I plan on attending. You all invited me to kinda join you at your table. I do hope that is still ok. I think there is at least one other person from the Evansville area that I had talked to that wanted to come also. There is someone from Dawson Springs KY that mentioned they were going to go. Someone needs to talk to them about joining also. NTRC is just about perfect for them. I am going to mention the Evansville, Owensboro club to them as well.

For anyone interested, I have talked to Keith at Owensboro, he is going to let us use his store for our first meeting of the Tristate Reef Club. Kinda a long way for most of you all, but you know you are more than welcome. Sat, Jan 16th, 2-4pm. I plan on modeling it after this club. I really liked the way you all did your club. I just talked to him tonight about it. I have not even said anything to the ones who were interested yet. I will send out a mass email tomorrow. Anyway, If I don't see any of you all at our meeting, I will see you at the swap. Cheers, Mark

I just might try to swing up in that direction for your meeting. Sounds cool, always can use an excuse to visit Keith's.

Hey Matt, Bring stuff, NO, buy stuff, YES. I don't have anything to bring. My 30 I just got running the other night. I had been keeping the rocks in my sump with some power heads, a heater and my MH. I will say, it worked like a charm. I also picked up a Nano-Cube 6 over the holidays for the wife in her classroom at school. I am now trying to tweak te 30 and get it perfect before the swap so I can buy some stuff. I am having some problems with my skimmer and am about to just take it off and go skimmerless on this system. Haven't decided yet.

As for the meeting, Would love to have you come up. This will just be a meet and greet and a "which way do we want to take this and where is our next meeting going to be" kinda thing. Where the meetings will be held is going to be the biggest thing that needs to be decided. Will talk to you soon. Mark

I'm afraid I won't be able to make this one. All was looking well and then the basement flooded. Not the tanks, and no permanent damage thank goodness. However we are still recovering, and trying to get our two girls (and ALL their Stuff) back into the bedrooms. I do plan to be at the February meeting. I'll miss seeing everyone.:sad2:
