Frag Swap Update

Well its been a couple weeks and wanted to give everyone an update.

We are having more trouble than we expected getting a room for the event. The connection we had at the college is no longer in the hobby, but we have been talking to the college and that might still work out, just have a few more hoops to jump through. We are also talking to the aquarium as a potential backup.

While working on that we've been working on a website. Trying to make something that looks nice that we can direct vendors to, offer advertising etc. feel free to take a look www. chattanoogareefclub .org and make any suggestions its still a work in progress, but we'd like to have this completed and a location for the swap nailed down next week.

Didn't want you guys to think we were sitting down here not doing anything.

Have you checked with some hotels? They often have rooms to rent out....just a thought.

Community centers worked for us at the last swap. have rev build on a frag swap wing. Churches with auditoriums might be worth looking into. the aquarium would be really cool, too. I called the Aquarium restaurant in Nashville last year and they wanted like $5000 for a couple of hours... Maybe an actual aquarium would see it as a conservation type thingamajobber.

yea we are playing all angles.... $1500 seems to be the majic number for space rental in chatt town these days. Camp Jordon, the armory, churches and selling didn't really go together, hopefully we will have it all squared away by the end of the week.

That sucks on the price. That's where we were going to be before I lucked up on the community center. Maybe it was cheaper because it was on the outskirts of town? Good luck. I know it's a headache...
