The frag swap today was good today as usual MTRC knows how to put on a show. It was good to see everyone that made it and sorry about those that couldn't attend. Also, it looks like we may pick up a new member that we met today from Russellville.

We just got done acclimating our new acquisitions and got all 12 new corals in the tank just as the lights went out. I hope everyone got some good stuff (I know we did!)

Terry & Terrie

Yes, it was a good one. Not a ton of stuff in the way of corals, but good stuff! Thanks Guys.

What was the green super huge thing I got from you guys?

Norman bagged up the very last coral that was in the tank I bought, it was a Cactus coral, and a very nice sized one. I walked away and forgot it! DOH!

Hey Terry, or Terrie, Not sure which is which and which one I am talking to. Anyway, I wanted to get a candy cane from you. I was going to, then I saw you packing up and I was dealing with the kids and then, I ran out of money. I made one final deal and had no more cash. At some point, I would like to come down and get one from you, if you still have one. Let me know.

Swap was great, I know I got a bunch of good stuff. I am happy. Thanks Matt, I really do appreciate what you gave me. I am only giving you crap about the frogspawn, I do understand sh*t happens. What was that I got from you?

Do either of you know who was sitting in between us? I would like to get a tank or two from them and didn't while at the swap. Now I am trying to figure it out to get with them now. Thanks again. Let me know about the Feb meeting. I would like to come and join up with you all. Its really nice to see everyone and deal with you all. Thanks again, will talk to you later. Mark

Matt, the acro frag was a piece from the extra large one we got at Fishey Business back in the fall and it is so large that it was shading itself and losing color and that was the part from the back. In higher light it will color up with blue/purple tips and fuzzy extensions.

Mark, I think you may be referring to Mike & Suzanne. If they had a daughter at the table with them that's who it is. If so, let me know and I will PM you their contact information.

Terry

Mark, it's a brown/green Montipora Capricornis (aka, Monti Cap). From above, under different lights it will appear green (polyps I think) and from the front it's usually brown looking. Nothing spectacular, but it's got a good shape and grows really fast. Take a picture of it, and then compare that in three months. It's easy to not notice the growth on something like that but it'll be impressive.

Terry, thanks!

Hey Terry, Yes thats them, they had some tanks at the show that I might be interested in. I just wasn't prepared for the equipment selection that was there. If you could PM me their info, I sure would appreciate it. By the way, Which is which with you two? Who is "y" and who is "ie"? Just wonderig so I know who I am talking to. Not that it really matters. Thanks much, Mark

Hey Matt, Thanks much again, the polyps are out and it is looking good. I am extremely please with everything I got yesterday. I learned a lot and it was an experience. I am ready for the next one. Keith said that there is one in Indianappolis. I need to see, is there one in KY? I will be checking. St. Louis isn't too far, I would think they will have one. Talk to you soon. Mark

I believe that Louisville has a swap around November usually. Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, St. Louis, St. Charles (15 minutes past St. Louis), and Atlanta all have them as well. I hope to get my frag tank up and going soon, and maybe get out to the three others in Tennessee.

I hear ya Matt, I am going to try and get a 20L together as a frag tank to be able to take to shows. I have a 150W MH, that is a Current sunpod. Really nice and compact and would be perfect for a tank like that. Just some random thoughts and ramblings.

We had a good time as usual.I think the selection from table to table was very good. There are alot of talented people in this hobby.
