dave over at oceans floor has given the thumbs up for a frag swap on sat july 22nd. i could not make it to drs foster smith as i am shure alot of others couldnt. so a local one will just have to do. i have never been to a frag swap but am looking forward to this. dave will supply food and the rest is up to us. there are some details to work out and any help would be much apreciated.i need to find out how many people are interested in coming out and how many will be bringing frags? anyone who has any experience with a frag swap please pm me so i can pick your brain or better yet talk you into helping. thanks to all

thats one of the details we need to work out. i think he plans to keep his regular hours and start the swap a little later. i am just trying to guage interest at this point. im hoping it grows into a monster!!!!!!!!! everyone please chime in and let me know if you are interested and if you want to trade/sell or buy so i can get a figure on how much space we need. and show some pics of those frags you will be bringing!!! thanks

It figures, the one day of that month that I have a tee time at Medinah!! That is probably the only thing that I will not give up to go. But... if it is in the evening, I could probably make it.

the frag swap hours have been officially made from 10:30 am to as long as it lasts. dave will provide salt water at his cost plus provide food and electric. you need to bring table/holding container and your finest frags. i will post some pics of my frags tomorrow as the main lights have shut off. please feel free to share. thanks
 
It hasn't been mentioned yet, and I am sure that Dave would not ask, expect or want. BUT this is one great guy doing the hobby a great service above and beyond. I think there should be a "free will" collection taken for him. Something to say thanks a lot, take the wife out. I would certainly pitch in for that. I guess I see Dave as more of a hobbist that has a store.
At anyrate I have to check my schedule, but will do what I can to attend with frags
 
Its great he is doing it. But I think that its marketing for you to come and swap frags and while your there you want to buy some stuff. To bad I am out of town that day.

i spoke to dave and he really just wants everyone to show up and have a nice time. hes not interested in making anything off this or getting gifts but i think he knows how much we appreciate everything he has done for all of us.i figure if we can get this thing off without him having to do anything other than supply the place and food he will be happy. i think if it goes well we could probably talk him into this being an anual event. meisen i got your pm and thanks for the tips.i will call later and pick your brain if its ok? everyone keep the posts coming and show us some pics.thanks
