Frag tank in garage?

What your TBRC's thoughts on a frag set up in the garage here in Tampa?

I'm thinking of a set up like 48"x24"x12", 55 gal sump, 2 MH 175.
Just gonna use it for coral frags, grow outs etc. no fish

My garage faces north so the sun wont be beating on the door.

What are my chances of doing this with out a chiller.

Why you ask? the wife(boss) doesnt want another tank in the house

I think you will need a chiller, or some good fans to help keep it cool.
My garage faces South, and the temps in there get to 100+. My live rock tub gets warm, very warm if I don't keep a fan on it.
Just my two cents.

Grrr... I am going to insulate the room like crazy... Lots of fans, and maybe a portable AC unit.

Y SPEND ALL THAT MONEY INSULATNG THE ROOM & FANS WOULD CHEAPER TO BUY A CHILLER. : )

Couple hundred spent on insulation will be way less than the cost of Chilling the water, in 6 tanks.

My garage faces North and I work in it during the summer (As long as I can). We are talking 93+ with fans on - the water will be HOT without a chiller!
