im going to frag all my softy's to make room for sps.
what tools can be buy at lowes that i can frag my softy's.
also for sps...thanx:bum:

razor blades, just makes sure to clean them. They tend to have grease on them.

I've been using well cleaned tin-snips to cut some of my stonies, I just take them apart and clean them after use so they don't get rusty.

If anyone knows of any good stainless coral tools for clipping and cutting hard corals I'd be interested in seeing them.

thanx ludnix,i remember reading it in you build thread(subcribed)now that you mention it..stainless would be nice.
your tank build thread is the reason im taking all my rock out to clean and re-aquascape it.
How did you get those zoa's to grw up that tonga rock?

Marine Depot has lots of (stainless) fragging tools, good place to shop.

If you can get the corals out of the water, a diamond cutting wheel on a dremel makes the best choice for fragging any LPS or SPS coral. Very clean cuts that are not subject to chance. If you've got to work in the tank, bone cutters or shears work well enough.
