i would like to thank everyone who made this great day happen. it came together due to alot of people spreading the word and showing up from all over. we had people from indiana,wisconsin,st lewis,aurora,plainfield,south/north side chicago and many surrounding suburbs.the whole thing went with no problems and everyone got what they wanted. the selection of coral was unbelevible and the prices were great. i got to meet some new friends and probably had one of the best days ive had as long as i can remember. i would also like to thank my wonderful wife for putting up with me for the last 6 weeks thru this whole thing.also dave for hosting this thing and greg our grillmaster, dr j, jim from coral paridise, shakey jake,all of daves helpers who carried countless buckets of water and helped in the blink of an eye,montri who has some of the sweetest frags around! the winner of the raffle for the tank is :eek1: l basile of 109th st chicago :eek1: i still need to get the names of the winners of the frags and post them! well enough blabering and heres some pics!!! and thanks again

i won the tank!!!!!
as if the whole thing couldnt get any better i won a new 210!! Thanks so much fishman and especially to dave and everyone that was working and the food and all that stuff that was the coolest thing ive done in a long time! i got some great frags and all sorts of stuff! i got the messege today from dave that i won and i still cant believe it! fishman, do you know how much was raised in the raffle for the poor guy in the accident? me and my dad really just through in some money for the cause with out thinking about actually winning! i hope we raised lots of money!! i got a frag and a gigas clam from dave and his store is amazing so i think ill get some more if were goin out there for the tank!
 
Congrats Basile! That'll be quite an upgrade. Now you have to get the lights, bigger skimmer, corals to fill it with, ........ :) .

i believe the total was $1200.00 raised for the tank raffle to give to the family. it was very nice of everyone to buy tickets and give for the cause. a nicer group of people couldnt be found anywhere! it was a pleasure meeting all of you and hope to see you again soon. thanks
 
Fishman - you da man! Good job on setting everything up. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and I hope this becomes at least an annual thing if not more often.

Sorry, they all have been sold. I might be able to pull a frag or two of the Gemmifera of my mother colony in a few weeks. LMK if anyone is interested and I will keep you in mind. Thanx.:)
