Fragged my Elegance Coral

Wow, this is a cool thread!!
I am beyond impressed on how the little guy has grown so quickly. You are to be commended on a job well done!!
Elegance is the one coral I still dream of owning, but I am scared to buy due to all the issues. It's heartening to see that healthy specimens can be fragged and will thrive.
Ahhhhhh, someday!!!
Thanks Sandeep and keep posting pics of the little guys!!

Can we have an interesting, informative thread where people aren't just trying to acquire other people's corals?

Actually, I'm curious as to if fragged colonies will be hardier in captivity than their wild caught counterparts... and it doesn't seem like many people have experience with cutting/fragging them.. so the few people there ARE doing it, its interesting to see if the little frags grow, it would be interesting to watch the growth of one from a quarter size (or loonie up there maybe?) to the size where it could again be fraged.

So, I suppose, in this instance moving a frag to another tank where the person could be very involved on posting its progress like what has already happened in this thread would be conductive to both an informative thread and acquisition of corals.

In other words, no, probably not :strooper:
