Fragging a Chalice

I've got this Miami Hurricane Chalice that has started to grow across the sand bed. Breaking a piece off seems easy enough, (skeleton) but do I need to worry about the tissue ripping away from the rest of it?

Using a Frag Saw is the Best Way to Frag Corals and Only Way I Recommend Doing It.

I have heard of people using Razor Blades but I do not recommend that as it is going to be much more stressful on the Coral.
