Fragging a feather duster?

I know this sounds silly but I got asked this question at work tonight. At first I thought "don't be an idiot" but then I remembered that feather dusters are annelids and that you can cut up an earthworm and get many earthworms. So I had to change my answer from "No way" to "You know that's a good question." Either way I don't think I would do this but is it possible?

Actually, earthworms can't be cut like that.

In the absolute best case scenario, if an earthworm is cut, only one half will live. That half must have enough vital organs to survive...

In most cases, you'll kill the earthworm. There's no way you can have two living halves.

you cannot frag feather dusters but i think some people have had them breed in captivity.

they do breed in captivity but dont cut them wont work
