fragging a frilly mushroom

Who has done it?.....is it like fragging a regular mushroom, do you need to ge a piece of the center mouth in that frag, and how big do they need to get before fragging?

I have one that is flopping over the corner of a rock and I'd like to get it better situated, I'll guess it is about 5" diameter at its widest point. It shows no signs of splitting on it own.

I've fragged a yuma and had alot of succes, but don't know if this will work for your frily mushroom. I simply cut the rock first right in the middle and make sure the yuma's foot is attached to both parts of the rock. Then I take a razor blade and cut through the yuma making two nice frags. If you don't do this I find that they fly every where and sometimes don't get attached to substrate and may die due to lack of light. They both heal up in about 2-3weeks. Well best of luck.

I have fragged a frilly mushroom without including the mouth. Just make sure you have a piece of the foot. Within a week, the frag fully attached to rock and another week it forms its own new mouth.
