fragging a mushroom?

could someone tell me the proper way to split a mushroom? I have seen them split on their own but how can you make them do it?

a few suggestions:

-point a little bit of flow at it. they will try and move out of the way and leave little babies behind.

-slice it right down the center. it will eventually close up into 2 shrooms.

-if the mushroom is large enough, slice it into quarters.

-throw a bunch into a food processor, chop up a bit, and then throw them into your tank. you won't have control of where they end up, but you will have a lot of them in a month or two.

i would slice it down the middle. i never heard of the blender trick but it might work

lol blender i dont know about that maybe maybe not u can slice it into little pie shapes and put them with some rubble in a place with not alot of flow then they should make its way onto the rock thats what i did.

Not at all. Mushrooms are like weeds, very prolific and very hardy.

chris i cut a big purple one you gave me into 4 and now its 4 little shrooms i used a razor blade
