fragging branching hammer

I have a head of branching hammer that is very large and I was planning to cut some frags off it to make it smaller thus keep it from breaking in half and give some frags away to some people that have been asking for them. How do I cut frags from the main head? There are several very small mini heads at the base of many branches can I cut the branches at the base with these little heads or can I cut the branches at the base regardless of if there are little teeny tiny heads at the base of a branch. Here is a picture of what the heads look like you can barely see the tiny heads at the base of the branches.

Thanks,

I usually break mine in half with my hands.

I've heard of people using a dremel with a cutting blade though.

I only frag off by cutting the dead skeleton stuff between the branches. It sounds like you want to cut through some of the live tissue which is not advisable.

The little bity baby heads best to leave them alone, it will take quite some time before they get any decent size to frag.

I tried the hand method once and the skeleton crumbled too much when it broke. If you have one, take a dremel with a diamond cutting wheel and cut the dead skeleton. Nice clean cut and you don't have to worry about damaging the flesh.
