fragging branching hammer

i want to frag my branching metalling green hammer. can i use a hacksaw to saw throught the skeleton, or do i really need a dremmel or rotozip?

Hacksaw, dremmel or simply pliers to twist and break at the branch base will work depending on the thickness of the branch.
Just keep the heads moist and do not shake much.
