Fragging Green star Polyps

My Green Star Polyps are growing like mad. It has probably spread its mat about 1.5- 2 inches all the way around. Can someone give me any suggestions on how and when to start fragging? When i bought it it was covering a piece of rock i put it on a branch of my LR and thats where it is spreading to. Thanks for all the help.

Cut, splice, mash, hammer, chisel, drill, doesn't matter, they will keep on growing. Superglue, rubberband, dental floss, weight with rock, doesn't matter, they will keep on growing.

Easiest way is to lay a piece of rock rubble or two in the colony.

I agree with all of the above.......Very easy to do...

you can just peel them off like a mat and use a razor to cut off wat you want to frag. For the most part they are pretty indestructible. lol

I would place the main colony on the sand bed and place LR rubble all around it. As it covers pieces, just tear them apart from the main colony.

tear a piece off and glue it to a rock. thats what i do
