Fragging softies

Is there an easier way to frag softies other than waiting for them to grow onto a removable rock?

What type of ,,softyes,,?Different coral species need different treatment when fragging.

A sharp pair of scissors can work wonders sometimes.

Attaching them will always be tedious though. (rubber bands, super glue or time)

Right now I'm trying to frag some xenias to give to a friend. Attaching is what I'm wanting to speed up. They're too slimy to superglue.

Use somme thin fishing line to attach it on a small piece of live rock.After a while it will atach itself on the rock.

I use thread but yeah this is much better than rubber bands. Almost lost the same toadstool leather a couple times before I put a stitch in it.

Others like mushrooms need to settle among rubble. Polyps can be superglued if you are careful.

Can Seachem Reef Glue be use to hold it in place?

Time perhaps? Given the proper conditions these things will adhere to pretty much anything.
