Fragging this toadstool

Below is a picture of the toadstool I got about 3 weeks ago. It has polyp extension and looks pretty good apart from it leaning over like this. My question is can I frag the Toadstool by taking the entire top off to make the stem shorter? Will both parts, the stem and the top, continue to grow?

Thanks for any help.

Yes. Both will grow.

When i fragged my large leather i used a wood toothpick with some superglue and stuck it through the leather and into a hole in the rock work to hold it in place.

Eventually the leather attached and the toothpick decayed.

I was thinking i could let it grow with a shorter stalk so it wouldn't lean over but I'm going to leave it as it is.
I have posted in the soft coral forum

A secure base and A LOT of chaotic flow always seems to keep my Toadstools happy. (upright/polyps out)
As far as fragging it goes, yes, they will regrow on both ends. (given the right conditions)

Check these out. I cut the top off of mine awhile ago, but it's already grown back again. I traded in at the LFS and they diced it up into a bunch of other frags.
