Fragging!

Chapman doesn't really know what he is talking about. He has less experience than two years.... or so I thought. So much for being a friend.... He told me he was new to the hobby a few months ago. :crying:

Anyway, he fragged some zoas for me as a friendly gesture for free. I think it was his first time. They are alive and healthy and multiplying. Whatever he did worked!!

Just thought I'd share.

Asschaps, get a bike. Come up and ride some track. CLSB misses you.

That is a great thread!

My question is what if I have a farg that I want to super glue gel to a large rock that's in the tank... I cna't take the large rock out... Can I just put the wet super glue gel into the water and push it onto the large rock I want it on?

Also, should gloves be worn, since the Paly toxin is present in zoanthids?

I was cutting a frag plug of RPE's a week ago, The cut skewed from the intended cutting line and I lacerated an adult polyp vertically straight up the polyp right next to the mouth. I just left it alone and now it's open and happy with 1/3 of it's body missing.

Larah, yes you can use super glue gel. put a little more than you normally use and put it into the water. It will form a film around the glob. when you put it on to the rock, press it on in a smearing type of fashion moving it around 1/4" side to side from the center point. It will stick no problem. Another option would be to epoxy it onto the rock.

It's a good habit to always use gloves when working in the tank. Do a google search on shoulder length veterinarian OB gloves. You can get a box of 100 pairs for less than $20+shipping.
