how do you frag zoas, do you cut them right off?

Yes with a razor blade or excato knife. If you feel like waiting you can place frag plugs next to your mother colony and it will grow onto the plug. Depends on your time table.

I have done both with mine. I kinda hate using a blade... guess thats the girl in me ;(

so i put shells/small live rock by the colony and they 'self frag'
