Frags anyone?

Hey Scott...great. Just call and I will bag them up for you (and by that I mean put them into cottage cheese containers, but then again everyone already knew that).

Chris/skwirl: hmmm. I have no idea of corals that you could try that will fit in that sort of tank. I could just give you some EMGS zoas, let you try them out. Then if everything works out and they live you can give me $10. That's up to you.

Don: actually Gary and I seem to have a very similar brown with blue tipped acro. I got mine from Joe though and actually that's not the one I am trying to sell here. I am trying to sell one that has more of a thinner branch that reaches longer and that has much tighter little hard pieces where the polyps come out. It's totally different except for the color pattern. Plus it wants to grow out of the top of my tank.

Is anyone actually coming over today? I haven't heard about it for sure from anyone. Maybe I will just see who shows up at 4?

and mel.. i would like to try some kind of acro,if possible, and the evilmel green sewer zoos. but i'll pay live or die, because if they dont survive i could almost gaurantee it would be my doing.. im stuck in the house until this evening after 7.
 
Hey Chris, well you could come over after that if you want. Just let me know, oh and which acro do you want to try? I think your best bet might actually be the slimer (and it's freaking neon green so you will probably like it). But we can just frag that once you get here. If you don't want to come over tonight, that's fine. Just let me know when you'd like to come by and I will try to work it out.
 
Hey Mellie,

Can you cut one of the thinner braches blue tip acros for me, too? It has a slightly different coloration and structure than the garf Leroy's blue tip. Angela is not traveling (she's due very soon), so I'll get with Phu to see when he'll be headed that way.
 
Sure Gary...I'd be happy to. I'll cut you part of this long branch that wants to poke out of the top of the tank.

Oh and Don, I'd say this coral is very high light loving since it is sitting right up underneath the 400w lights and it's trying to grow out of the tank. hah hah.

It's not too late but I am really badly behind trying to finish a lecture. Maybe you could come by on wednesday when Scott does, then I could spend more time talking to you about reef stuff (as I always end up talking too much to people who come by). Thanks!!
 
Oh Zack...that was really funny. Actually what I have done is "subscribed" to this thread so I can be alerted when someone posts in it. I talked to some people about coming over today and I want to keep contact about it, ya know?

Btw, when would you like to come by and get your pink zoas? I cut them for you a couple of days ago. They're actually pretty neat because they are the mat-forming type. I thought it was neat anyways and totally exactly carnation pink.

But about the frags, I don't know when I would be able to come by, plus I don't know if I have your address written down anywhere. And btw, how much do I owe you?
 
Wish I could come by but since I won't be in the area and Phu will I would like to take a green slimmer and some carnation pink zoos if you have them left. BTW I have never had a zoo spread so fast as the EM greens I got in January. They act like they are on steroids! Great zoo for fast rock cover! Send me your adress and I will mail you some $$. How about that galaxia, they are real mean aren't they? Got a pic?
 
I'm thinking they might need to be called BBonds Green skirted zoas;). Does that make me a media monster trying to wreck his career? Sorry, the whole 'I didn't know I was taking steriods, just thought it was natural to quadruple in size in three weeks and it's all the media's fault' argument still drives me nuts.
 
Hey Phu...that sounds fine to me 22 or 29 will both work.

Zack...I know I know. I don't have to answer it but I have to take small breaks while I am working otherwise I'll go nuts. It's wierd I know, but I function best when half distracted. About the zoas...where do you live? I live at 1901 Cureton Rd K TN 37931 (it's really easy to get to) but if you live close by I can try to drop them off to you this week if you want. I know you have to get parents to help drop you off and it's probably just easier for me to bring them to you. So PM me where you live and all and I will try to get some time to do that.

Angela...I can totally get you the green slimer but I am not sure about the pinks. I will let you know later tonight!

Also, you guys aren't kidding about those zoas. Man...I'm now telling new people to place them somewhere that they don't mind having totally covered in zoas. They are unreal! I had to actually put my giant bubble coral up next to them (and the yellow polyps) to reign those suckers in. It did the trick too let me tell you!
 
I just torched a hydroid jellyfish-covered rock to make room for my new frag, Mel. I expended half a tank of propane from my plumbing kit so that they would have a wide-open expanse of white rock to settle on and expand...

:D

Angela, would you like another zoa instead of the pinks if I can't get those? Like some of the red and pink zoas? Or the red ring green skirt ones?
 
hey Mel how did the lecture go? Hope you got it finished? I got some birthday money this weekend and I am trying to spend it!! What else besides the dragon eye zoas do you have that would work under 440 watt vho lighting? I already got 2 frags of em green zoas, pink ring zoas, yellow polyps, and a big hunk of spaghetti leather ( all of which are doing great!!). Just thought I might get something else when at the meeting sat. It is still Saturday isn't it? Did we get a location yet?
