Frags for swap

Hey I am going to make this easy on everybody. $15 for any frag. The zoos are 10-15 each. The candy canes have at least a couple of eyes and some have five plus.

This first one has orange with kind of a pinkish center

The next one is the best picture but only has a couple of eyes in this picture. They are yellow with a mottled green yellow look. The camera didn't take that.

Watermelon just like the others have; a couple bubble gum available also

Purple on purple, seem to have a little blue center.

Candy cane frags

If you see anything else that you want let me know. I will also have an equipment list to follow.

Just so that we are all on the same page. I run metal halide 20K and 96 watt 03 actinics. The discs that the frags are on are about 1 1/2" wide for sizing. I, in no way, am trying to make a fortune or mislead anyone. These colonies have been in my tanks for over a year some as many as three. I am just doing some house cleaning. Also, (knocking on wood) have had only problems with some slight hair alge, on a rock that I didn't cook, and aptaisia that I have getting under control with my new crittrers and shooting them with kalk.

Movin on up. I have never seen so many posts in a week. That's good for everybody! I could say something rude about no body wanting my zoos but I will leave it alone. I know that they are probably pretty common.

Rob, I wouldn't take it personal. I have a hard time selling zoas, but I have some pretty nice ones. I think it's just difficult to master taking good pictures that do them justice and I would think that to be the case here. I have a flippin' $1000 camera but can't get good images still...I'm actually going to try to take better pics today ...I have a curved front glass so that doesn't help.

With that said, I'd like 1 of the first ones. (orange with pinkish centers).

Ap, I think if you could change out one of your actinics with a daylight bulb just for pictures the colors would really come out.

I have never tried that. I would have to look around, I don't know that I have one. I tried to adjust the camera to take less blue but I guess the light is just that way. Thanks for the thought and I will give it a try.


Casey, I would be up for a trade also... but will hold one of the bigger frags for you.

I have actually tried taking pictures of mine with 20k / actinic combo and my camera just can't handle it. But turn on a 10k pc and they really pop.

Are you bringing these to the swap? If so, I may get a better look at the others.

Yeah I am bringing what I pre-sell and then a couple of the others. I am not really wanting to set up a table and all. If you are considering something let me know and I will bring it, maybe trade it off later or something. All my stuff is trimmed pieces from over growth and grow out so it isn't like I will be detracting from something.
