As has been stated multiple times, frags will grow to the current tanks environment, for lighting, flow, nutrient level, etc. Tabling acros are a great example. It is widely known that wild tabling colonies have a horribly high mortality rate but the success rate from growing the exact same coral from a frag is very good. Most attribute this to flow rate and patterns. This same philosophy applies to any SPS, but some acclimate and survive better than others.
