I think I may have found one of the last honest mechanics, at least in my area. I had computer issues with my Caddy. I'm not green where auto repairs go, I borrowed scanners and tried to find the problem myself for several weeks.
I changed parts on a hunch. Once I was $800 in, and the car was no better, I gave in and decided to take it to a shop.
I've been working on my own for a long time, I had no relationship with any local shop, and I knew the dealer would want my house and first born just for a down payment.
