Franky's Macro Shots

Booooo!!!! If you wanna get on Scott's level you gotta post like 30-40 pics in a row man, enough if this piece meal crap...give us the goods!!!

Get a FTS while you're at it...some length wise photos. Maybe some top downs now that you got your fancy lens housing.

Step it up dude!!!

PS...sick pics man...

Lol I wish I had enough corals for 30 - 40 pics in a row. I think Scott had a massively stocked 180. Mine is a tiny little 75 gal puddle. A fts maybe but top downs even with my new gadget are impossible due to the canopy and if I remove the canopy the lights go with it as they are hung inside the canopy. I can't win lol

Thanks everyone I wish I had more stuff to shoot lol. Either way it's fun to track growth process. Some stuff looks like it hasn't grown and then when you look back at an old photo you realize it did

Absolutely beautiful. Im still try to figure out how you get the black background and the vivid colors....

Thanks the credit for the black background goes to a tip someone on the photography forum gave me on exposure and f stops. It was either Aaron, jroovers or misled. All great photographers plus my back glass is painted black so that may help a little too

I have a similar multicolored war coral but it doesn't look like that!! I need to be able to look at my corals through Franky's lens

Funny thing is that multicolor war coral gets no light it is under an arch and partly inside a cave. Maybe yours gets too much light and fades???

Hmm. I did just move it to the sand bed from mid tank. I got it last summer at Collin's and it's grown a little but I never see the feeding tentacles. Then again I usually feed while the lights are on. I think it has similar coloring as yours - red & purple with yellow/ green eyes.

Thought I'd post a few new pics.

Orange plate i got from Krazy Karl. It is a lot brighter under Actinics, almost looks fake neon orange.

These were taken under 10-kish
