So I have a Clown surgeonfish or tang and he is a total butt. I just got a new Lemarck’s angel in my 210 reef and a few anthias. I had tried a group of anthias before I think I had 8 but they all just stayed in the rock and hid and soon starved to death. Well I finally figured out that my first try didn't work because my clown tang likes to pick on planktivores because I saw him chase the anthias. Well this just sucks. What do I do? How can I catch him? ANY help what so ever is greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking, Josh.:mad2:

Well lets be honest, this isn't really a surprise. You either keep him, or other fish. As far as catching him, what about a big net and food to lure him. Put the net in about an hour before so he forgets it.

Yep.....these are mean fish, they get meaner as they get bigger... If you want to keep him , your going to have to stick with tankmates that are as mean, or meaner than he is

yes very mean fish. i would get rid of him if possible. they will only continue to get meaner. Also now that he is established it will be hard introducing fish in the future. good luck

If he comes to you when you feed the tank, just put the food close to him and have a net ready to net him out. Since he likes to bully, use garlic in the food to make sure he bullies for food one last time in that tank.

I tried MANY FREAKING TIMES i know they are mean and I didn't find out until after lol. he knows what the net means. even when he sees it through the glass or above the water he runs and hides. I feel bad getting rid of him since he is so happy but I do plan on getting many more fish. I guess while I am gone tomorrow just leave the net in there all day. maybe put a mag on it so it stays on the glass...

I am afraid that a 120 gallon isn't big enough for a school.

Man I would keep the clown tang and get some more aggressive fish.
