Free 1 gallon bottle and 1 (1/4 left)

Hello All,

Looking to give away a bottle and a 1/4 ( maybe less 0 of muriatic acid 30%. They only sell 2 bottles in a box and I only used mostly 1 bottle to acid wash 25lbs of reef saver rock.

Those are 15% or less only I think, this one is 30-31%

If its half strength you might have to leave it in longer.

PS: Have LOTS of baking soda, I ended up using 4 med size boxes and 2 small ones I had in the cabinet. Could have potentially needed more.

USE Protective equipment, gloves (arm length), Safety glasses, mask (fumes), spill catcher as it will definitely spill over (FOAM).

Take your time and don't rush, ACID is nothing to play with or cut corners on.

Also, add acid to water and NOT water to acid.

Baking soda is to neutralize the acid.

Hey 650-is350 did the acid bath take off a layer for you. I did mine twice and it had the bubble reaction and everything but my rocks didn't come out whitw like I seen in other pics. Also where do u live at just in case i decide to pick up the acid.

Yes the rocks are white and clean as hell. I do believe the acid did eat up maybe 1/16" of top layer of rock maybe. Its more porous now.

Its been air drying for a couple days now. Will rinse in RO water for a couple days then start seeiding in a brute container using B7 or some other seeding material.
