So I went to upgrade my auto top-off from a Hydor (not a fan) to a Smart ATO and so I had to pay $50 extra. Right now until Sunday Kona Reef is offering a free frag if you spend $25, that value of which can be anywhere from $10-$70. Well, I picked the right easter egg and I nailed the $70 dollar prize! Made my day. Anyways there way a few small colonies of torch-hammer morphs and a couple different acros in their $70 tank but this one in particular caught my eye because of the rainbow colored branches sprouting out from the base. They were very vibrant under the AI's at Kona, and so I thought I'd take a chance and hope that those branches will keep growing that way and -just maybe- I'd end up with a rainbow colored acro colony! :fun4: It also has a single zoa head on the back of the base. I dipped the frag and placed it in an area of high flow and receiving plenty of light from my halide 20k's & power compacts. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I could definitely use some help identifying it. The main coral branch is a darkish red-pink with what looks like pink polyps but the others at the base are blue at the stems with turquoise-green tips. I took some pictures with just the halides on and then both the halides & pc's on.
