I can bring a bunch O' asterinas to the meeting.

Put them in your tank and listen to all your visitors say, "Oooooohh! Those little starfishies are SOOOO CYUUUUTE!!!" :)

Uh, ok... just get them anyway. They're free :)

Reply here if you want any.

Where is the frag swap and what time do people generally show up? Also, what is the cover fee for non-members and can they make purchases?

Regular club meeting at:

http://www.bareefers.org/public/ASAP Directions.aspx

Meetings are open to the public. No charge to attend. We're having a presentation on Quarantine and Disease Treatments. We'll have a raffle. And as a courtesy to members/attendees we have IC Gel and Mrs. Wages Lime available for a nominal cost.

At this meeting, we are also collecting coral donations for the San Francisco Steinhart aquarium.

Additionally, our guest speaker is taking the opportunity to make available some nice LE corals on a pre-order basis. Check out my recent threads on this page for info.

Here's the BAR home page for more club info.

I have a ton of asterinas to give away at the meeting too. Let me know if you end up giving all yours away and there is still demand for more.

are asterinas the little brittle stars or the mutant stars?
Haha, mutant stars... I guess you could call them that. They're the little ones with stubby sometimes lopsided legs.

yeah, posting a lame question I actually got off my duff and typed it into google.....

Thanks, I have plenty though I don't have many/any of the tiny brittles right now.

Oh, the microstars. I have those, but I have to pick up zoa rocks and shake them to see if any fall out.

I'll see what I can scrounge up :)

cool, I should be at the meeting. My wife is out of town so I'll have to bring Cameron in with me. I don't know how I'll get his wheelchair upstairs.

Ask for some help from some there I'm sure we can easily get him upstairs. As long it's not one of those super heavy electronic jobberdos :)
