Honestly, I have no idea what kind of crab it is, but if its an acro crab, keep it!

Someone here will most likely know. Was it attached to an acro you bought?

Picture isn't good enough for a proper ID. However, in general it is a safe assumption that any crabs with heavy claws like that will be trouble. Not so much for corals, but any other crabs or shrimps in the tank, as well as things like feather dusters. Basically anything they can overpower becomes dinner.
