Free Fish @ Riptide

If you havent already heard, Riptide Aquatics in Granite Bay is closing. We only have a couple or more days of being open, so I just wanted everyone to know that WE ARE GIVING AWAY ALL OF OUR FISH!!!!!!! Both fresh and salt water needs to go. :mixed:

Ther are no restrictions, and no limits of how many fish you can have.

WOOT! i am flying over there tommorow! its my b-day! i wanted to go tidepooling and look for elk at point reyes but my sister has her exit exam and she cannot miss school and i cannot just go w/out her. oh well, i guess its time to stock my 40 gallon w/ inverts now, its been set up since newyears eve, i'd say its time for a lettuce nudi and a bubble tip brittle star.

yeah, i will call before going. chances are they will not have much left, but i know my sis would be glad w/a bunch of free betas or fancy guppies, she is NUTS about them. hopefully they have free clean up crew guys, i could use some more hermits and snails. i doubt i'm gonna walk in and find a flame angel or anything like that.

by the way for my b-day i was hoping to fullfill my last fish pick, that would be a pair of 6 line wrasses, have you guys seen them anywhere? incredable pets has one but it is being treated for popeye and is not for sale.

by the way riptide is not in the phone book, aleast not in the one i have, that could have contributed to its down fall as its the first place people (or at least i) look when trying to find what they are looking for.

yup its me bday, i am no longer a teenager. AHHHH!!!! i'm 20!!!! eepp! o.o its kinda scary.

"no one can stay young forever but we can be immature indefinatly" a quote from a poster in my teachers room.

the other day for my bday and my sisters (turned 17 on the 11th) we got 4 baby chicks and 2 baby ducks. do you have any idea how cute it is to let baby ducks swim in the bath tub? i was squealing with delight. they beat a rubber ducky any day (by the way i was not in the tub w/them, the poop too much!!!!)

next year we will be 18 and 21, 2 big landmarks at once, my mom wants to do somthing special like a beach horseback ride or a horse ranch hotel where we get to ride horses and see wild ones (saw it on channel 6, i know its in CA i just need to find out where)

just called they have no saltwater left but a few lime green centered zoas and live rock. i'm still gonna check out the live rock since its from there display tanks and is well matured

Hopefully I can save you all a trip. No more fish.Cept 2 damsels and one has ICH coming on so....40% off dry goods though, so I picked up a 25g pack of Oceanic for lil over 12 bucks and a cannister of carbon for 7 bucks. Slim pickens though, and no they dont plan on relocating or going underground,just shuttin down.

Ralphs closing down 3 months after there grand opening really killed the deal for them, to bad guys.Best of luck to you RiptideMike and Dan..

my bday was great, found a bubbletip star, a lettuce nudi and a 6line at o-street. the only downer was i found out aquaworld is closing! their rent has been raised by alot and so they cannot stay open as they would have to make over $2000 a week to stay afloat, their last day is apirl 7th. too bad, i was hoping to get a job there.
