I've lost interest in my freshwater setup so I've decided to shut my 5' 70g tank down and give it to a friend that wants to get into saltwater (mostly for fish I belive), so I wanted to offer the fish here before trying to give them to PetCo in Florence. Anyone near Florence that has a large freshwater setup and wants them...
I have 1 tiger barb left that I doubt anyone will want as they're so aggressive. But I have 2 passive fish, a 2-3" upside-down catfish that spends most his time during the day under a rock ledge but swims around the tank a little at night. He's fat, happy, and something different. You can have the rock he's called home for 3 years as well. I also have a 3+ year old 10-11" plecostomus that needs a good large dirty home. I'd prefer he go into a larger tank than he's in now, but large freshwater setups aren't the norm. If anyone on here has a friend that doesn't read RC with a large freshwater tank (or possibly pond that doesn't freeze over in the winter) please ask them if they need/want a large algae eater. I've had those last 2 fish since Feb '05.
If there's anyone in the Huntsville area that would want them we may be able to work something out with my friend getting the tank as that's where he lives.
