Slimer is too big so I cut some 2-3" frags from it and mounted them on frag plugs. They are starting to encrust and doing great. I need the space so come get them. I am located in Glenview, near 294 and Willow Rd. I'll post pics if anybody asks for them.

I'd love one. I'm heading to HP tomorrow so maybe I can swing by.

Can you PM me with some contact info and I'll call you in the late morning early afternoon?

Thanks
Adam

I def reccomend stopping by jmcmahon, he has an AMAZING tank that is just packed w/ corals. You'll go there for the free slimer frag and I know you'll leave with more then just that. Hes got so much to choose from :D

if there is still one left i would love to pick it up in the morning. let me know and ill get some directions from you later on.

Green slimer is an acropora yongei that is bright green in color. It is a fast grower even under my 14KK lights. It still grows about an inch a month. Pcture of the frags is too blue. Sorry. I won't be home Saturday till noon as I got called in to work, but afternoon and Sunday is great.

You'll see why they are called a slimer once you get it into your tank... It's not just because of the color..

Very fast. Mine grows about an inch a month. Great coral for beginners and tolerant of many different lighting formats.

do you thinkit will be ok under comapct lighting, if i place it on the upper part ot the tank. i have 2x96 in my 46.

My green slimer frag has hardly done anything for about 2 years. Looks healthy, totally encrusted the rock. Im just waiting for that one day that it just starts growing like mad like everyone elses. Maybe I need a different strain.
