Free Live sand.

I have about 1 1/2" layer of LS in my tank I am breaking down. All the LR is out and only sand and water remain. Half of it was the "bagged" live sand (I was stupid when I first got in this hobby). And there are some larger grain sand. I wouldn't reccomend this for display sand, even though if you could put it in the corner some where it would really seed your sand well.

But I view this is a very nice refugium boost sand because there are alot of pods in my tank, and the sand is like 1 1/2 years old. There's bound to be alot of life in it!!

Please come by and take however much you want! If you are interested in any of my drygoods while you're here we can talk too. But I mainly want to give all all this sand first!!

I bought Teremei's live rock today. I can tell you the sand is hopping with life. I was half tempted to take it myslef.

Hey Jasutton you can come by if you only need 3 pounds. Anyway let me reiterate. It's not the purtiest sand. But being 1 1/2 yrs. old. It would be perfect for refugiums. Or if you happen to get a cup from the prettier side of the tank, a nice little DSB seed.

When I took out 20 or so # I noticed tons of bugs are now on my glass. Evidence there are deffinatly alot of life in this sand and would make a GREAT boost to your rufugium.
