Free: Long Spine Urchin

I've had this guy for several months, from a baby with 1/2" spines to now at-least 4" spines each way. If you see the pic, he spans 8" end-end. So you'll need a 6-8" container and lots of water.

He doesn't harm anyone, reef safe, cleans stuff, doesn't move or bulldoze things, eats nori & coral frenzy pellets. I'm giving him away cos he's overgrowing my tank and i've accidentally hit him several times and don't want to risk puncturing my hand.

I moved him to my sump a few days ago, so i'll be a bit challenging to get him out. I'm doing my water change Monday evening and its the best time to get him cos i'll have lots of tank water for him. Pick up in Santa Clara.

I got punctured with mine 2 weeks ago and I'm still suffering from it! My arm got a red bump that turn into an itch that won't go away lol. I love mine but they do grow .

Might want to get that looked at, spend the $20 copay or whatever it cost for the docs, getting your skin punctured by anything in the tank is a great way to get a nasty bacterial infection that can go south in a hurry.

Vinegar or your pee should do the trick! Till it dissolves.

I stepped on these urchins a while back and I screamed like a baby!

It got irritated by all the scratching I did ! Haha I did think about peeing on my arm but it was an awkward position..
