Hello all. I find myself in quite a pickle and have decided to reach out to the community here are there are quite a few good guys here. I am having to move from my apartment, back to my mothers house so that I can have yet another operation. I have been trying to sell my aquarium for quite a while now, with no success. I have a 75gal tank setup that was a reef but due to my physical disabilities it is now more of a FOWLR than anything as all the coral has died off. My situation is that I have to vacate my apartment by 10/31 so I am moving on 10/30. And I am still stuck with a fully running setup.
What I am looking for is someone who is willing to take the contents of my tank and in return break the system down so that the movers can put it in my storage unit. Below are the tanks contents.
Approx- 85lbs of live rock, not much purple, but would make great base rock for a new tank. Also 50lbs of sand/crushed coral substrate from Florida Keys.
1- Hippo/Blue Tang 4"
2- Mated pair of True Percula Clowns. (Not mated, but raised from 1" size as a pair and they have matched up nicely.
1- Engineer Goby 4"
2- Random Chromis from cycle process
2- Feather Dusters
1- Brittle Star (Hard to say size as its always wrapped up in the rocks, but each leg is about 5" long)
?- I saw a shrimp one evening not long ago. When broken down there is not telling what surprises may be found.
This tank has been up and running for about 18 months and the fish eat well. If someone is willing to take all of the livestock, and contents, and then empty the tank out they can have all of this free of charge.
Please feel free to message me or PM me with any questions and this is first come first serve. I am in the Town and Country area. Thank you.
