Free mushroom rock

I have a rock (very small rock, about the size of a baseball) with about 12-15 mushrooms on it (green/Blue) that I can't seem to keep. I got it about a month ago and for the first week or so they opened up and were beautiful, however have shriveled up. They have "spawned" a ton of small mushrooms on the same rock, however they do not open like they did. I think it is because my water is to "clean"... I have moved them to high light, low light, high flow, low flow, no flow, no light... Just can't figure it out.

They still have awesome color, just won't open up.

Thanks for the mushrooms, we'll get em all situated in the morning. Hopefully they like one of our tanks in our classroom!
