free sh fry

I have some S. Erectus sh and have been a bit overwhelmed with fry. So, I thought I would offer a batch or two of fry if someone wanted a chance to try raising some.

Of course fry would be free, all I ask is that

1) you would need to be within driving distance to Crystal River, FL as this is pick-up only.

2) I can help with some questions re: set-up but obviously this would not be something for real newbies (no offense)

3) you supply the baggies or transport material

so, if interested just drop me a pm and we can work out a date - my sh are on a very consistent schedule so I could predict a "due" date within a day or so.

Figured it was worth a post just in case someone would be interested.

(and please be patient, I don't get to check my email daily)

depends on your specs.

these would be newborn fry - would not rec. refugium depending on your main system as hydroids and other critters can kill fry and you need a set up that would not have too much flow

there are alot of differnt set ups but mine are raised in small batches at first then to 10 gal bb tanks with feedings 2-5 times a day and twice daily vac. of bottom

Perhaps next time then. I would hate to not provide them the attention they require.

I am looking for a couple of Erectus when the time is right though. Do you raise these often?

This has been my first tank with sh. Didn't intend to breed but didn't realize just how prolific they can be. Tried a few batches of fry but haven't made it past the 5 month mark yet, still working on having the fry switch to frozen foods while keeping tank parameters in check. so just a hobby right now.

But pm me when you want to buy some sh I will give you the contact info for where I got mine and some other sellers of true cb.
